Kimberly: In 1990, I made a life-changing decision. What started as a corporate relocation to Orlando for my career in property management turned into a defining moment. I fell in love with Orlando and decided I was done being uprooted every year for my job. At 30, I took a leap into real estate, trading a stable career for commission-based work. It was risky, but I wanted to take control of my life and stay in the city that felt like home.
My first new home sale—while finishing my MBA—hooked me, and I soon transitioned to working for custom home builders. Over the years, I developed a unique skill set, learning the construction process inside and out. Amanda and I specialize in new construction and urban infill projects, blending my design and construction expertise with her knowledge of lifestyle and community. I take pride in helping shape the neighborhoods and communities I first fell in love with years ago. Real estate keeps me inspired and driven—it’s how I connect, create, and leave a lasting impact.
Maintaining a balance in life has been especially important to me, enabling me to be my best self personally and professionally. Recently I’ve embraced solo traveling, posing an exciting challenge for myself to immerse in a new culture and find my way around even when I don’t speak the language. I also cherish time with my daughter, Caleigh, who now works with us in real estate, and my three dogs, Gwynnie, Ginger, and Paul. I enjoy being involved in the community as a member of the Women’s Club of Winter Park and donating to causes close to my heart, including Second Harvest Food Bank and Danny & Ron’s Pet Rescue.

Amanda: After working in sales successfully for several years, I found myself unfulfilled, craving something more dynamic and meaningful. The monotony of the work—repeating the same tasks day after day without any real sense of purpose—left me feeling bored, stuck, and uninspired. I knew I needed a career that offered variety, challenge, and the opportunity to truly make an impact. With a young son at the time, I chose real estate thinking it would give me the flexibility I needed.
However, the early days were incredibly tough, even with years of sales experience. I worked with 6 custom home builders in one community, and though I had some initial success, I lacked guidance and structure. Kim became an incredible mentor during this time as we worked together in the same neighborhood. With time, I developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges builders face, from marketing inefficiencies to a lack of process creating delays in the ability to manage sales, marketing, design systems, and setting proper expectations to have a successful transaction each time. This sparked the idea of working directly with small to medium builders to streamline their operations, offering them a concierge-style, virtual in-house service that handles everything from homesite selection and design to sales strategy ultimately reducing days to completion and days on the market to help control carry costs and increase profit margins.
In 2016, Kim and I officially partnered, combining her expertise in design and construction with my focus on understanding client needs and builder operations. Together, we’ve created a unique niche, working with small to medium custom builders to help them stay efficient and competitive. Seeing a project come together—from an empty lot to a family’s dream home—is incredibly rewarding and fuels my passion for this industry. Real estate isn’t just a job for me—it’s a way to bring value to others while doing something I truly enjoy.
On a personal level, real estate has allowed me to balance raising my son Caleb and daughter Ryen while building a career I love. Outside of work, I enjoy live music, traveling,
and spending quality time with family and a great group of friends that I’ve known for over
20 years.
